PowerPoint is Evil

Power corrupts.

PowerPoint corrupts absolutely.

Is PowerPoint evil? Most of us have experienced death by PowerPoint at some point, but is it all bad? Doug Johnson says PowerPoint doesn’t bore people: people bore people. He sees PowerPoint as a visual aid-with aid being the operative word. The important part of the presentation is still eye contact, gestures and expression. And you must have something worthwhile to say. All the flying bullet-points in the world won’t replace an interesting message and a compelling delivery style.
